THIS WEEK ON LLP

A WEEK WITH LLP. SORRY FOR THE RADIO SILENCE...

I'm sorry. Thats pretty much all I have to say for my radio silence over the last two weeks. Although I have no real excuse for my laziness, work has tired me out and any spare time I got to myself I tried to desperately see friends and spend time resting. In the end all it's left me with is a shitty infection and a back log of blog posts to write. So all I can offer is my baby Oscar, don't you think my cutie is just the bomb! He has been coming to work with me now and honestly just seeing his little sleepy face after a long day, his hugs just make everything all better.

A WEEK WITH LLP. BEAUTY LAUNCHES & EVENTS IN LONDON.

With Wimbledon over, the beginning of the week saw me finally taking a whole two days off! Now these two days were meant for rest but within a world of beauty launches and Christmas in July, I finally pulled my diary off the shelf and realised we are bloody almost in the middle of JULY! Thanks to my lovely Rachel (Beauty Queen UK) who pretty much reminded me there is a life out there, I got my glad rags on and tried to get back out there.

Blog events are always an odd one for me, as depending on my mood I guess, I see them as a privilege but also a real struggle. Whether its the anxiety of walking into a room of strangers or just having to meeting new people, they are daunting. You would think I would be used to it by now, after three years attending them but for me it never gets easier.

THE EYE MASK CRAZE. DHC RICH EYE ZONE CARE PACK REVIEW & SUPERDRUG REFRESHING HYDROGEL EYE PATCHES REVIEW.

As I type this post, I am sitting with two eye patches on right now and I think my other half might be thinking my level of weirdness couldn't get any higher. The every growing eye patch craze in the beauty world doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. I am quite new to the addiction and I can totally understand it.

An at home remedy that throws the old cucumber slices out the window, these clever little patches usually aim to help hydrate, firm and refresh the eye area that can tend to be quite difficult to treat, especially if you have sensitive eyes like me. Eye patches can take shape in many forms from gel to fabric, all usually soaked in a rich hydrating almost serum like product.

Two patches I have been trying out are both very different to each other and I have reviewed them below. Be warned there is a terrfying Nigella styly pic below!

MY HAND WOES. AURELIA PROBIOTIC SKINCARE AROMATIC REPAIR AND BRIGHTEN HAND CREAM & TRIND PROFESSIONAL EXFOLIATING HAND SCRUB REVIEW.

Over the last few weeks my hands have taken a beating. With dry skin worse than I had ever seen before on someone of 26 years old, I took to my beauty cupboards and prayed something would work. I mean I tried almost everything I had and I even finished three whole bottles of hand cream from various brand of all prices that just did nothing. If something didn't help I was considering going to the doctors to see if it was normal to have such awful peeling cracked skin and what I could do to stop it from getting worse...they would probably make me stop working!!

I think the problem with most hand creams I try is that they feel like they just sit on the skin. Like many moisturisers, some do feel sticky and unpleasant on the skin until you find something that just works. For me, it was the routine of using two products in my rather sunny picture above!

NEW BEAUTY. LA ROCHE- POSAY EFFACLAR DUO (+) UNIFIANT REVIEW.

You can tell I have had the day off today as I am seriously quick to the keypad with this one! Launched just last night to a whole room of bloggers, which I dragged myself out of bed for (first day off in over three weeks!) I was eager to see what else La Roche-Posay could add to their ever expanding Effaclar skincare collection.

If you don't already know, La Roche-Posay, a french skincare brand found in your local Boots now, has an extensive range, named Effaclar that is an anti-imperfection collection of products that battles against breakouts. With Effaclar Duo (+) launching two years ago, it was one of the first products that targeted every stage of the spots lifespan and helped to not leave any sort of scaring. My very old review is HERE but I still stand by everything I wrote two years ago. Proven to treat and reduce blemishes within 24 hours, Effaclar Duo (+) is one to keep in your skincare cupboard!
