BEAUTY HELP. STORAGE.

I'm sure every beauty writer, like myself and Jess have problems with storage. We are always moving, re-organizing and trying to find simple and cost effective way of storing all our stuff! This post was just a quick insight into a few ways I decided to display and keep make up and everyday beauty needs at arms length without cluttering up my surfaces.

         1.  Empty candle containers

These are an object that in our household we fly through! We are always testing and designing new fragrances for the future, which always means we have a constant stack of empties on our shelves! Our containers are made of hand blown glass, so they are sturdy and very pretty but obviously there are plenty of other stunning candle containers too that you can use in exactly the same way. Once washed out the container can be used for anything. I use them to hold my make up brushes, just as the glass is tall enough to keep them secure and not falling out!

(I will promise to do a post on Timothy Dunn London as i'm sure for a lot of candle lovers out there would like to know more)

            2.  Vintage teacups & saucers

I love anything vintage! Ever since I went to the Vintage Festival in London rocking my victory curls, buying vintage has become part of my life. Over the last few years I have managed to collect lots and lots of teacups and their saucers, yes i'm still thinking as I write, whats another use of a teacup apart from drinking from them! However in my big clear up, I thought they make fab little pots for my everyday eyeshadows and lipsticks. Even though they can only hold a few small products, they look really pretty. I also use the saucer to hold all my clips, which is much neater.

This is my sideboard in my room, as you can see lots of flowers (as I can't be without any! Florist at home and at work hehe) with all my must haves nicely organised. By using the two pretty ways of storing makeup and beauty products I have finally utilised objects that I would have just stacked away in a cupboard!
