We bought this fab little set from The London Fashion Weekender for a steal price of £25, which considering Elizabeth Arden's Original Eight hour Cream is £25 on its own, we got a little bit extra for our money. Both of us have been testing each version of the 8 hour cream and we have loved the benefits. It has been a cult classic for many years so we were very excited to try it!

Jess - Elizabeth Arden - 8 hour cream lip protectant - £20

O' my gosh, where do I start! I basically just love this product. Ok the smell isn't amazing but if it does the job does that really matter?

Most of us through the winter suffer from dry skin, dry lips, dry hair - the lot and the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream solves a great deal of those problems. I have recently been using the 8 hour cream lip protectant stick which 1) fits perfectly in my handbag 2) is really light on skin & lips, and 3) is great for a quick dab of nourishment throughout the day.

Also a little beauty trick: Sometimes I like to take the pinky-ness out of my lips and go for a really nude colour lip, which this product is great in creating.

Simply dab a little bit of your concealer or foundation onto the lips and then add a swoop of the 8 hour cream lip protectant over the top. As the Elizabeth Arden lip protectant is thin and smooth it doesn't go sticky on the lips or make them look too creamy which can sometimes happen when using a product like Vaseline.  This product merely adds a light shine and leaves you with natural nude looking lips hurray!

All in all the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour lip protectant leaves your lips feeling soft, nourished and truly kissable :o)

Becki - Elizabeth Arden The original 8 Hour Cream Skin Protectant 50ml £25

I suffer with the worst chapped lips at the moment, as it still feels like winter is here its important to keep lips hydrated. I usually never have dry or cracked skin apart from my lips, so when I over heard the Elizabeth Arden ladies say its a miracle for lips I had to test it out.

Instantly I was sold! The cream is not as I expected its more like a really thick condensed gel, although it is orange it goes on the skin and lips clear. It makes my lips slightly glossy which I like as it means I don't have to worry about a lip gloss or lip colour as natural lips look best on me. The scent of the cream isn't the most pleasent as it smells slightly chemically but for me if it cures my dry lips I can handle it.

The cream isn't just to use on lips as you can use it for almost everything such as dry skin, sun burn, dry hands and softening your cuticles. This cream for me is a must have in my handbag now.
