OUR BEAUTY TIPS. 5 SIMPLE STEPS TO SPRING SKIN.


1) SPF - With great BB creams and foundations with SPF in them there is no excuse for leaving your skin exposed to sunlight. Sun damage completely changes the appearance of your skin such as the texture and patchy discolourations.

It can also increase the number of fine lines and wrinkles as well as potentially causing skin cancer. All in all repeated sun damage and sun exposure causes premature ageing which is something I'm sure we would all like to avoid. I am not saying step out the house looking like Casper with caked on sun cream but SPF foundations, daily moisturisers and BB cream are so accessible to get your hands on now and for a good affordable price.

At the moment I am still using my Hello Flawless Oxygen Now foundation from Benefit which has an SPF 25.

2) Cleansing - Ladies a beauty basic - Get yourself into a cleansing regime. A cleanser is designed to remove the dirt, grease and grime from the upper layer of your skin which helps to reduce the clogging of your pores. Cleansing doesn't take a life time to do and I promise once you get used to doing it every day and begin to see the great results - you'll never look back :o)

Becki and I have both used the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish which is great! In addition recently Becki has been using the NUXE Micellar Cleansing Water which she absolutely swears by.

3) Neck and chest - This delicate area can sometime be neglected in ladies daily routine - this is definitely a beauty no no! Pay attention to these areas just as much as you would your face. Regenerating this often neglected area, helps to repair the signs of ageing such as; lines, wrinkles and thinning/slackening of the skin.

NOTE TO SELF: Cleanse, polish and moisturise the neck and chest area.

4) Exfoliate - Exfoliating 2-3 times a week is crucial in creating flawless skin. It helps to remove dead skin cells and really gets in there to help unblock your pours reducing the attack of the dreaded black heads.

5) Hydration - This is a beauty, health and lifestyle MUST. Drinking plenty of water is good for both your inside and outside. More specifically for skin hydration, look for a daily moisturiser, which is high in humectants such as omega oils and hyaluronic acid as these really help keep the skin smooth and hydrated. Hydration of the skin leaves you looking awake and with a natural glow! What more could you ask for.

I have previously used Total Effects-7 in 1 Anti-Ageing Moisturiser and Serum Duo which really helped hydrate my dry skin.
