Since starting Life Looks Perfect, I have become obsessed with trying out new products, getting to know brands and venturing out into the world of Micellar waters, BB creams, CC creams (I'm now waiting for DD creams) and the list goes on. From learning about beauty, I now know, how important it is to look after your skin, you only get one face ladies and there will be no turkey necks here (*GIGGLE TO MYSELF * Thinking of Lily's, What I Heart Today April favourites video).

I have regularly been mixing up my skin care routine, which sometimes I will find a new favourite and others I pass on to friends and family, if it doesn't agree with me. Since my last daily skin care routine, which was over 2 months ago now, I can see how I have developed not only in my knowledge of skincare but also how my routine has expanded! This post is what I have been using over the last month.

Being a newbie blogger of only 4 months, it is amazing how much Jess and I have developed our love for beauty, what started as a small almost hobby, now into a passion. I love skin care and I am always itching to try the latest thing or invest hard earn cash into the beauty's hall of Liberty's!  I think it may be because I have never been as good as Jess at creating the perfect face with make up. It seems we have therefore naturally fallen into our favourite areas of beauty blogging :). I would like to think we are still pretty equal in our Sister Style posts but as Jess is almost 21, I see her growing inch by inch taller than me and even more like a young lady :). (That's the old sis in me hehe she will always be my lil sis).

Now back to the skin routine, this month I have been trying to stick to 4 products; a cleanser- L'Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water, toner- Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic, serum- Super Facialist Neroli Firming Serum (excuse the terrible photography, we had only just started blogging!) and a moisturiser- Pond's Hydronourishing moisturiser. On my last skin care routine post, I wasn't using a toner and I can see such a difference in my skin with it now in my routine.

Although now I am looking to add another part, an exfoliating toner, recommended by the amazing skin care guru Caroline Hirons, in the form of the allusive Pixi Glow Tonic, that lucilky managed to get my hands on, these products over the last month have worked really well for my skin. My complexion has been clean, fresh and brighter in the mornings and I love using them. I now, also take my skin care routine down to my neck, which for ladies afraid of a turkey neck this is a must! As work is a bit all over the place, I could be starting at 5am or 9am, never really knowing till the day before, I find all four products quick and easy to use as at 5am if I need to as I must say I am usually barely awake!

With a few emergency morning must-haves such as the Lush's Mint Julips lip scrub and Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour cream for my lips and hands, I always feel ready and set to seize the day!

Since the far and distant dark days of winter and a few terrible days in spring, my skin care routine has developed and expanded almost every month. With a few product changes and  a few favourites, which I can't survive without (Super Facialist Serum, I am talking to you), all these products I have enjoyed using and my skin looks fab! I have sadly almost finished these now so I am looking to mix up my skin care once again! Any recommendations ladies & Gents?

One thing I won't be changing is sticking to a my 5 products; cleanser, toner, exfoliating toner, serum and moisturiser. I have spotted a few cleansing balms, that I would love to indulge in as part of my new skin care routine but I'm afraid the bank balance won't allow it! I will try and also write my before skin care Routine too, so you can see my full routine and what a beauty addict I have really become!

What are your daily skin care must-haves? Could you recommend any of your favourite Cleansing Balms?

You can read in my individual reviews of these products on each product link-
