DAILY SKINCARE ROUTINE. JUNE TO JULY. #4. BECKI.

I can't believe another whole month has passed since my last daily skincare routine post! You guessed it...there has been a few changes! But don't worry, I still have to finish up a few of my products from last month, as I like to make sure I don't waste anything. I have some old friends and some new ones too that I have written a little review of below :)

Old Friends & New Friends

As you can see I still have over half of the products I was using in last month's May to June post and I can thankful say, I love them still! Usually, I get through a new cleanser per month. May seem a little excessive, I know but I do love trying new products and I make sure I cleanse twice a day, with either a micellar water in the morning or a creamy balm at night. This month, I have been using Melvita's Fresh Micellar Water c/o enriched with rose extract. It is a refreshing micellar water that keeps your face clean and hydrated, without drying your skin. I do love micellar waters and this one in particular, as it is very gentle on the skin, perfect for a quick morning cleanse.

I think as long as it is in stock at Pixi, I will forever use their fantastic exfoliating toner 'Pixi Glow Tonic' full review HERE. It keeps my skin healthy and balanced as it is full of great acids that get rid of dry & dead skin cells, leaving you with a glowing complexion. After this, I am still enjoying Aveda's refreshing Botanical Kinetics Skin Firming Toning Spray, read full review HERE. This spray toner, hydrates and refreshes my skin. Although, if i could get my hands on La Roche Posay Serozinc, I would switch to this instantly!

Another new friend, is Stila's Light Source Serum c/o. Claiming to keep spots at bay and brightening your skin, this serum has slotted straight into my skin care routine. Most of the products I have been using all aim to bring a healthy glow to my skin and this one really does. Read my full review HERE. With no nasties, this serum is softening, light and hydrating. After this stage, I have still been using Melvita's Moisturising Rose Nectar c/o as my morning moisturiser. I have started using this just for the mornings, as I find it doesn't give me as much hydration as I need over night but it makes a great light and non-greasy moisturiser for day or before make up.

Since splitting my night and day moisturiser, I have been on the hunt for a great night time cream. In order to do this, I started at home, by using up lots of mini samples that I had lying around in my skincare draw. I hate wasting products, so this has been a great way of testing out the water before buying something. So this month, I have tried two moisturiser's out. First, Lancome's Hydra Zen Neurocalm day cream (sample) c/o which I am afraid I haven't photographed but you can see it in my most recent empties post. Although named a day cream, as product is targeted for dry skin, I found it to be the perfect texture before bedtime. It is rich and soothing, as it soaks into the skin, which in the morning, I always look plump and healthy.

Now to the real creme de la creme...ReVive Moisturising Renewal Cream (sample) c/o! This little baby, I got in the huge Space NK goody bag a few months ago. At a mere £170 for 100ml, this sample is my own slice of luxury. However, I wish I could tell you that for a product costing that much my face has been transformed! Well it hasn't. I can't fault the product really, as it is a fantastic texture and the cream feels amazing on but it just hasn't done anything. I was hoping that with all the claims of ReVive's key ingredient Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), which is meant to help increase your skin cell renewal and give you a luminous complexion, my skin looked exactly the same. When looking into the back ground of this product, which I should have really done before using it! Bad Becki! I of course, in doubt turned to Caroline Hirons! If your interested in this moisturiser definitely read THIS first. Thank you Caroline, once again you are my skincare go to guru! So boo to this very expensive pot!

A few extras that I still love using is Pond's Institute Eye Contour Cream c/o that keeps my eyes hydrated and less puffy. Dove Spa Eye & Lip Remover, is a great make up remover and gets rid of the toughest mascara. It is so soothing and soft on my skin, which I know on my eyes can become very red and sore. I am sadly now running out of this remover, so I will definitely have to invest in a new one. Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate, has been my go to night time treatment for months now and although in my review a few months ago, I said I hadn't seen a difference in my skin, I must say that now, I reaaaaally see a difference. When I was at the Summer Space NK event back in May, I asked one of the skincare specialists why this oil wasn't working for me. Since telling me that maybe I should use Kiehl's concentrate only once or twice a week, I have done exactly that. In the morning, my skin literally glows. So I have found a new glowing love for this concentrate since my original review HERE.

I promise, this is my final product! I just wanted to add in this fab new moisturising mask that I have been using a few times in the week. Melvita's Fresh Rose Infusion Moisturising Mask 50ml c/o is the perfect pre make up pick me up and a great thirsty skin pleaser. This mask is a gel- cream that you apply all over your face and leave to soak in for 5 minutes. After you just wipe away any excess with a dampened cotton wool pad, with either a floral water, toner or just water. I like to use my Melvita Damask Rose Floral Water. With hyaluronic acid and a rose infusion, this mask helps battle dehydrated skin and certainly plumped my skin, which I then follow with Melvita's Moisturising Rose Nectar cream. Melvita's Fresh Rose Infusion Moisturising Mask is available to buy later this month.

Sorry, if again, I have rambled on but I have become a bit of a skincare junkie! Hope you enjoyed reading my skincare update and please do comment below or tweet me any questions on skincare or any of these products :)
