Now ladies and gents, don't shoot me down for admitting this but I have never used heat protection on my hair before! For a lady with long hair, I can't believe I even have hair! But I have finally bought myself heat protection and I have been loving the difference in my hair.

From the huge market and variety of haircare products out there, I wasn't sure on what brand to go for. So I went for trusty Toni & Guy, as they had the best selection in my local Boots. I picked up firstly; Toni & Guy's Prep Heat Protection Mist, which helps to protect your hair from damage and breakage caused by styling and heat. I have to admit, I love this product! From first application, the mist is light and covers your hair in a few sprays. The actual packaging is fab as well, as the mister on the top disperses the product all over your hair, which for a lady with pretty long hair makes life a LOT easier!

I tend to use this spray most days after washing my hair, as with this hot weather, it saves my hair from drying out too much in the sun and instead, looking healthy and glossy. I have been using a good 5 sprays or so onto my hair and I still have over half of the product left, so I think this justifies spending a bit more than I usually would on hair care.

My next purchase was a little impulse buy due to another Boots 3 for 2 deals (damn you Boots) but I am so happy I bought Toni & Guy's Casual Sea Salt Texturing Spray . This spray will join my collection of ever growing sea salt spray's to give your hair that messy beach look at home. I use this on wet and dry hair, as it styles my hair either way with instant texture. I do love that sexy beach look, especially with my longer "home" ombre (failed) look. As my hair is flat as a pancake most day, sea salt sprays are fantastic. However, this one does leave your hair feeling a little crispy if you use too much of the product in one place but this does brush out fairly easy once the spray has dried.

I am really happy with my two purchases and I love Toni & Guy's simple and reliable haircare and styling. I will definitely be on the look out for my next haircare investment! If you have any recommendations please do comment below :)
