To be completely honest when it comes to hair care I do fall short of even being remotely good with my hair. Ever since I had my hair cut short in 2008 I think it was,  my hair care routine has slightly slacked, due to the simple reason I seem to be able to get away with bed hair woohoo! But after years of dying it, I think it now more than ever deserves some TLC or T&G and boy have I fallen for the cleanse and nourish range by Toni & Guy.

Of course with most of our beauty pick-ups, it all begins in our favourite shop - Boots! They had a 3 for 2 offer on a few different hair products and brands and as always I'm looking for a bargain so was completely sucked in.

I decided to go for the Cleanse and Nourish range by Toni & Guy and picked the shampoo and conditioner for 'dry hair'. I have never used Toni & Guy products before as I always thought they would be really expensive, but with this offer I didn't mind :o) As I previously mentioned after having dyed my hair relentlessly over the last couple of years it has began to become slightly brittle, which is not a good look, so I was in desperate need of some help!

Firstly I absolutely love the packaging of these products, they look really sleek, expensive and I think would be a lovely addition to a beauty basket present. The smell however for me is on a different level, it is beautiful, fresh, girly and rich! I honestly can't describe what it smells of.. not necessarily floral, maybe a hint of cinnamon? I don't know, but I love it! The cleanse and nourish range aims to sooth and relax hair by putting back the intense moisture which is lost, leaving it feeling silky smooth and above all-healthy!

If dry hair isn't your worry, the 'cleanse and nourish' range has many other specifics such as; for blondes, brunettes, fine hair, damaged hair etc. So there is something for all problems, hair types and colours.

Obviously sticking to my 3 for 2 offer, I also picked up the 'nourish deep conditioning mask for blonde hair', not much use to me now as I have decided to become a brunette woohoo! But whilst being blonde, I used this product once or twice a week. Applying a 50p piece amount of the intense conditioner to my hair and then leave in for 3-5 minutes, enough time for it to work it's magic. Similarly to the nourish conditioner for dry hair the products texture, is thick, creamy and almost has a slight waxy-ness to it, which I like as you can really feel it moisturising your hair. After washing it out and leaving my hair to dry I could honestly notice the difference in texture, shine and colour which was almost lifted.

A big thumbs up from me across the board with all three of these products, love the smell, the result the lot. Will definitely be purchasing them again :o) What are your hair care favourites?
