EVERYDAY FACE. BECKI. ENGLISH ROSE.

Now we have had a bit of time out and have decided to focus more on the things we love to write about, we will hopefully be bringing you more make up posts with our everyday looks. As you might know, I work with my family and to be really frank, i barely wear make up! Shock horror, I am sure for many of you, but in a job like mine appearance doesn't matter and keeping warm is the priority! So when I do have a spare five minutes, a bit of me time doesn't go a miss and these have been the products I've been loving.

The Base

When I have to get up at all hours of the morning, I tend to either go make up free or use a bit of Vita Liberata's Capture the light Opaque Buttermilk c/o. This easy and quick answer in the morning, helps to hide redness, blemishes creating a subtle warm glow and flawless skin. The texture of the product is much like a highlighter, light and creamy. I tend to use a small amount, maybe two pumps, all over my face on top of my moisturiser. The finish is beautiful, as it has a softening iridescent sheen to it, that makes me feel healthy and gives me a lovely glow. With added SPF 25, this is a perfect base for me on those lazy no make up days. This product can also be used all over the body too.

If I fancy more coverage, I have been using Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint SPF 15 in Bare c/o. This tint has the texture of a foundation but the coverage of a tinted moisturiser putting it somewhere in between the two. It's light coverage covers all those little blemishes and any redness without looking like I am wearing a face full of make up. The skin tint works really well for me at the moment, as my skin has been in great condition and the less make up I have to wear the better.

On top of this tint, I have been using a light dusting of Paul and Joe Protective Powder Compact Foundation in shade 10 SPF 20 c/o, that mattifies any slightly shiny areas, which i usually get down my T-zone. If I do have any little spots that need covering or dark circles under my eyes, my favourite concealer is Nars Immaculate Complexion Concealer in shade VanillaThis concealer is a perfect match to my skin tone and works well with all of my other product shades.

The Glow

Over the top of my base, I like to use a light dusting of Becca Mineral Bronzing Powder in Duende c/o. This bronzer is a staple in my make up bag now, as it gives my skin a beautiful glow. I use this bronzer in an '3' shape down my cheek bones, jaw line and forehead. You can read our full review HERE.

I always apply this bronzer with one of the limited edition Real Techniques Duo Fibre brushes. I use the Contour Brush c/o, which picks up only a small amount of product and easily blends into my skin for easy contouring. These brushes are great if you like using products lightly on your skin and I know Jess particularly likes the duo fibre face brush too.

I find that as I only use a small amount of bronzer on my skin, I then like to finish off my checks with a little bit of blush. My favourite is Nars Blusher in Orgasm. Read my full review HERE. I usually apply this with Liz Earle Blush Brush c/o, which I love as I only just have to pat the brush onto the blusher and it instantly picks up the perfect amount of product to just tap and blend onto my cheek bones for that ever so slightly flushed look!

The Eyes

Do I have to even explain this beauty? When I visited the Avon event as few months ago now, this palette was the first product I was drawn to. Avon 8-1 Eye Palette in The Nudes c/o is the most incredible, pigmented palette with 8 gorgeous natural nude tones. I have tried them all and honestly I will actually be using them all. Usually I like to cover my eye lid with the shimmery white (shade 1) and then blend in with my Mac 217 blending brush, a darker mooca tone (shade 2). To finish, I then cover the entire lid with my favourite eye shadow, which is the silvery shimmer (shade 5). Then I blend out. To finish, I use my favourite mascara Lancome Hypnose mascara in Black £22.00.

The Lips

I can't help loving a bright pop of colour but on a day to day basis, I tend not to wear anything apart from a basic Burt Bees lip salve or this beaut of a lipstick. Meet a very rare rather pastel pink in my actual lip collection Stila Colour Balm Lipstick in Isabelle c/o-shock horror! This colour looks gorgeous with my pale skin and keeps my lips moisturised for the whole day. It is easy to apply and looks subtle, especially for my taste. The colour lasts really well throughout the day and if it starts to wear off you can hardly notice as it is very similar to my natural lip shade. It also smells like peppermint!

Vita Liberata's Capture the light Opaque Buttermilk £29.95 c/o. Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint SPF 15 in Bare 01 40ml £21.00 c/o, Paul and Joe Protective Powder Compact Foundation in shade 10 SPF 20 c/o, Nars Immaculate Complexion Concealer in shade Vanilla £18.00, Real Techniques Contour Brush found in the Limited Edition Duo Fibre set £23.99 c/o, Becca Mineral Bronzing Powder in Duende £32.00 c/o, Liz Earle Blush Brush £15.00 c/o, Nars Blusher in Orgasm £21.50, Mac 217 blending brush £18.00, Avon 8-1 Eye Palette in The Nudes c/o, Lancome Hypnose mascara in Black £22.00 & Stila Colour Balm Lipstick in Isabelle £16.00 c/o.
