NAIL FAVOURITES 2013.

Morning Ladies and Gents, we are half way through the week. I hope your week has been better than mine so far!  Today's beauty fix, is my last favourites post from 2013, my first full year as a beauty blogger. Sorry if these posts may have dragged out a little too far into 2014 but I wanted to write a good read on each of the categories as I know they have all made an impact on me in the last year and I wanted to properly share with you why.

First up is the miracle worker that has saved hundreds of cotton pads and toilet roll and that is Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover Pot. Gone are the days of scrubbing away at your nails attempting to remove every last scrap of yesterdays nail polish...now this little pot does it all for us. It has got to be one of the best beauty inventions in years surely? I mean it is genius! Thank you Bourjois for keeping me as far away from  that squeaky cotton wool as possible!

Next up is a hand and nail hero, which I thought is probably best mentioned in this favourites post and that is L'Occitane Shea butter hand cream c/o . I have now tried a few of L'Occitane's hand creams and I have to say the simpler the better. You can't beat the natural scent and feel L'Occitane's number one selling product. With 20% Shea butter, Honey, Almond extracts and Coconut Oil, this cream not only leaves your hands feeling hydrated and nourished but they smell divine. This hand cream is definitely my favourite this Winter and it hangs out in my Bedtime Beauty Box!

I think in 2013 I had a bit of a love affair with this shade. Rimmel's Instyle Coral c/o was bought for me by a friend, who's initial reaction to the product was bought on a whim mainly for it's ridiculous name. I mean what does Instyle Coral even mean? Beats me! Since April, I must have worn this colour on my nails week in and week out all across the Summer months and even in the Autumn. This colour is just perfect for my skin tone and I think is a fantastic coral shade as it has a delicate warm orange hue to it mixed that doesn't look too bright when you have applied it. I have always love Rimmel's 60 second varnishes as I adore the applicator. A genius flat brush that covers my whole nail in one coat. Simple!

A top coat that works like a dream with this nail polish is Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat c/o, which happens to be one of my favourite finds last year. Lucky enough to receive this full size product in my Pixiwoo Liberty goody bag, it is one of the best top coats I have used. Quick drying and leaving you with the shiniest nail, I think that this top coat takes alot to beat. I tend to use it onto of an almost dry colour coat, which for me works the best. It is an expensive product, I know but even though I have used it almost every week, it will last me into the next few months of 2014.

Finally is a product that every time I use it, I want to eat my fingertips! Don't think I'm crazy until you have smelt CND Solar Oil c/o. It is a beautiful rich nail oil that keeps your cuticles and nails in ship shape along with hydrating them like nothing else I have ever tried. Yes hand creams do the trick sometimes but with the state that my nails get in sometimes being a florist, this oil has been a real saviour. I am certainly going to be investing in a full size product once I have finished this cute little sample.

So there you have it an end to a beauty era, my first year as a beauty blogger. I hope you have enjoyed reading my favourites posts and I have inspired you to maybe try a few of them out this year.
