SPRING SKINCARE NEWBIES.

Today's post surrounds three newbies to my skincare shelf. I am a sucker for skincare and I keep up a strict skincare routine everyday day and night. This means when it comes to trying new products or introducing new items to my routine, I always have to be careful, as a break out maybe on the horizon. As I have spot prone skin, I usually stick to brands that I know my skin gets on with but sometimes trying something new just has to happen, well I am a beauty blogger and all! All three of these products are perfect to welcome a lighter, fresher and more radiant Spring skincare routine into your lives and I have added them to my morning routine.

First up is Liz Earle Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion 150ml c/o. To my surprise, I found this bottle in my Mum's beauty stash, which I gave to her a year or so ago now. I however, haven't ever used this lotion before, as I wasn't sure what the point of it was. Oh how I was wrong. This soothing lotion is an absolute god send for tired eyes. When I wake up, I am usually quite groggy and half asleep (like the majority I'm sure-who really likes to get out of bed hehe!). I just place a small amount of this water-like solution onto a cotton pad and lightly wipe over both of my eyes. Instantly my eyes feel alive and wide awake. I am sure your thinking, why don't you just use water to do this? This eye lotion is cooler and more refreshing than using water. It's ingredients include Witch Hazel, Aloe Vera and cornflower that all help to sooth and revitalise your eyes in the morning. I think I would even use this outside of my routine, if I was feeling extra tired and needed a slight pick me up. I am slightly annoyed at myself for not giving this a try all those years ago and passing on the samples to my family, damn you lucky fam! Eyebright is such a lovely product to use as part of my morning routine and now my eyes just don't feel the same if I forget to use it.

Next up on the newbie list is a rather generous sample of L'Occitane Angelica Eau Radieuse Face Toner 6ml. This toner was actually part of British Beauty Blogger's most recent beauty box and once again, my skin has really got on with it. The most important thing for me in a toner is for it to be alcohol free and have a refreshing natural scent. This toner does just that. This toner is part of L'Occitane's Angelica range that helps to hydrate, sooth and plump the skin through using extracts and essential oils from the plant, which has natural hydrating properties. This toner is refreshing and light on the skin, perfect after cleansing to clean away any left over impurities on the skin. I haven't noticed any difference in my skin since I have started using this but like Liz Earle's Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion, my skin sure feels different when I haven't used it. Again this is the perfect 'wake me up' toner and it's scent is light and fresh. Hello Spring!

Finally is a gorgeous new Spring moisturiser that was kindly bought for me as part of  Korres gift set from John and it is Korres Wild Rose 24 Hour Brightening Cream 16ml c/o. This soft and  refreshingly light moisturiser was an instant hit with my skin. It is  a light, non greasy, mattifying cream that helps to create a radiant complexion. For me, I was so surprised with how much it helped control my sometimes greasy T-zone. This moisturiser in fact contains corn powder that helps to absorb any oiliness, which is a winner right ladies? With 96.8% natural ingredients, this cream also contains Rose oil, which is a natural source of vitamin C that helps to reduce fine lines and add to that radiant Spring glow after months of Wintry dull skin. Although this is a rose scented product, it is extremely subtle and when it is on my skin, I can hardly notice any scent. Along with the other two products above, this moisturiser is the final touch to a refreshed and bright complexion. Just what I need when I look like death in the mornings hehe.

Have you tried any of these three products before? Do you have any Spring time favourites?

Hugs & Kisses

    1. I would say it might make your skin slightly oily as it does leave a brightening glow to the skin which may seem too shiny for some xx
