LA ROCHE POSAY ROSALIAC CC CREAM.

Summer is almost here! Yes I said it! As the weather is getting warmer, well some days, as I type it's poring with rain and I slightly look like death in my photograph, well I am a little under the weather at the moment, I love to mix up my make up bag and fill it with new beauty finds. One of my latest beauty obsessions has been this light, delicate Rosaliac CC cream from La Roche Posay c/o that I am wearing and ONLY wearing above. Of course there are clothes there somewhere beneath hehe!

I'm not going to lie and say that I have been a huge fan of BB or CC creams as I haven't. They have never really done anything for my skin that a medium coverage foundation would do and to be honest I prefer the look of a foundation on my skin rather than a BB cream. However since taking a risk on one of my favourite French beauty brands, I was definitely pleasantly surprised by La Roche  Posay's answer to the huge CC cream phenomenon. If you haven't been around for this crazy craze a CC cream is a colour a correcting cream that helps to even out skin especially for people with high colouring, broken capillaries and any red scaring from those evil under the skin spots.

Promising to cover redness with it's colour correcting properties, this CC cream is from La Roche Posay Rosaliac range, suited for reactive, sensitive skin that aims to calm redness over time. I think this cream is a fab addition to the range as personally, I have got on like a dream.

For starters, it is available in a universal shade, suitable for medium to fair skin tone, which is perfect for my complexion but of course won't be for everyone. As fair skin is prone to redness aka moi, this product has certainly helped cover redness with a natural looking completion that gives me a dewy finish without looking oily.

Enriched with Shea butter, the product applies easily and blends well into the skin cancelling out any patches of red I have around my nose area and cheeks. The cream itself is very light weight and with a key ingredient being Thermal Water it feels refreshing and hydrating, calming down any irritable skin instantly. One of the main factors why I think this CC and I have bonded is due to it's final finish and it's high SPF. With an SPF of 30 this CC cream therefore protects me throughout the day against harmful UVB and UVA rays and the finish too has great coverage. It's hydrating, without feeling heavy or tacky.

I think if you suffer with redness and want  a medium coverage complexion without too much fuss, this is the cream for you. The useful pump bottle also creates a mess free application. As if your like me, a foundation without a pump is a blooming nightmare, talk about make up bag dramas! I would highly recommend this product for sensitive red skin and it may seem expensive at nearly 20 squids but for a 50ml bottle, which you only really need two pumps from to cover your entire face, I think it's a worthy investment.
