The end of April seemed to have just come and gone for me, hence the slightly late monthly favourites. I do like to write these posts as it gives me a chance to share some bits that I have been loving this month but I may have no yet written about or reviewed anywhere else. Pretty much all of these bits above are newbies in my collection and what can I say other than its been a great month for beauty.

To start is a brand new cleanser in my shelf of many and it has become a firm favourite, meet Pai Skincare's Camelia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser c/o (£25, 100ml). I was lucky at the start of the month to be picked to take part in the #PaiChallenge. To join in, I had to cleanse at night only using this product, which for me was no problem but sticking to one cleanser was the tricky part. I do tend to be a bit of a cleanser slut hehe! This cleanser however converted me. By just using one cleanser, you can really see the difference in your skin and this beautifully light milky cleanser, kept my skin balanced, clean and looking fresh. As it contains no nasties, its formula is gentle to apply and didn't break me out at all. It was a pleasure to try and has certainly left me wanting to try more from Pai's range. I will certainly be sad to see this one go.

Another skincare newbie is from Caudalie and it's their Polyphenol C15 serum c/o (£35, 30ml). This serum is an anti wrinkle defence product in one little bottle aimed for over 30's. With a formula filled with skin loving ingredients that will help protect your skin from free radicals whilst you live your life at 100 miles per hour, the serum includes vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid.  This serum really is suited for anyone who is exposed to lots of pollution aka moi, scummy London, it's super antioxidant formula is light and absorbs straight into the skin, leaving me with a protected and plump face. I have adored this from first use and who cares if it's for over 30's I need all the protection I can get!

This Melvita Hydrating Damask Rose Water c/o (£16, 200ml) makes a brand new appearance after months of it hiding away in my cupboard and my skin couldn't be any happier. This beautiful toner is the perfect addition to my skincare routine that I have been waiting for. It is hydrating, smells divine and contains no nasties especially alcohol Since using this, I have seen a huge difference in the hydration to my skin and say goodbye dehydrated forehead hehe!

Another product, which I won't go on too much about, as I only wrote about it fully on Tuesday, is my brand new bath love from The Bathory. I  can't recommend this brand enough and if you want a treat, this is the product for you. It is a bottle of incredibly relaxing bath salts, to which you pick the base and fragrance notes. Heaven! My blend is with a Bask base and notes of Lavender, Ylang Ylang and Sandalwood c/o (£18, 200g).

As for my nails this spring, I have been rocking plenty of pastels but there has been one that has been getting me constant compliments. Rococo Nail Laquer in Lady Lavender (£12) is bar far the prettiest and most unusual lilac shade to have graced its way into my nail box. Its milky finish looks gorgeous this time of year and compliments my skin tone perfectly. Another skin tone lover is the Becca Cosmetics Aurora Matte Lipstick (£19) that looks beautiful against my complexion. This has been my go to lippie and I love it's bright redy orange finish. Of course it's a matte lippie so dries out pretty quickly but for sure, it's my preferred finish.

To finish, not another newbie! Yes it is! Meet Magic Drops (£6.49, 50ml) from Mark Hill's hair care range. This repair serum helps to tame frizzy hair, repair split ends, hydrates dry hair and makes your hair feel stronger. I have loved this serum and it's a firm favourite to use on wet hair.

There you have it my fab seven! April has been a quick month, it's had it's up and downs for me but I am looking forward to the weather warming and life only getting better.

Hugs & Kisses
