QUICK SPOT OF GLAMOUR. #3.

As many of you will know a few weeks ago, my family and I were lucky enough to attend the prestigious Fragrance Foundation Awards. We weren't just attending for fun (ahem yer right) we were attending as we were nominated for an award in the Best Home Fragrance catagory with our Violette de Lune Candle. A huge honour and something that after a year or so of launching, we were blown away to be side by side with brands like Jo Malone and Diptyque. Haven't heard of us get googling folks! So you might be able to tell, I wasn't planning on taking any outfit pictures with what I wore to this event but I found these pictures on my computer and I thought they were rather lovely. Jess and I were just messing around really but you can see most of my outfit and you get to see Arnie again!

Jumpsuit- H&M
Shoes- Primark
Coat- Zara
Necklace - Primark
Bag- Mulberry
Lips - Rimmel Kate Moss 111
Tips - Nails Inc Tate

Right now I can't afford to buy too much, as with the deposit for our new flat and the depressing realities of life, I decided to wear something that I owned already and I chose my beautiful bargain jumpsuit from H&M that I bought on EBay for £20! It feels so comfortable on and I knew I that was high on my priority list as this event was my first time I had eaten out for over a year and a half. I'm still working on that and even just being able to go to an event shows me how far I have come since I took a stand with my anxiety. Keeping things simple with bold tips and lips that match my red flats, added a spot of glamour. With a big statement gold necklace and my bejewelled shoulder coat from Zara, this outfit, cost me literally just under £70 which for a whole outfit is a bargain right? I sure felt beautiful and that's all that matters right?

Now you may be wondering if we won the award in the end...well we missed out by one point to Diptyque, which for me isn't a loss. For such a small home grown brand, who took a passion and made it into a reality, I couldn't be prouder of what my family and I have achieved in such a short space of time. Don't worry there are plenty tricks up our sleeve, bring it on for 2015!

P.S. I promise I am not posing with Arnie, Jess and I were actually walking him down to leave at our parents house - the glamorous life eh! (More like reality fashion blogging!)
