A LAVENDER BATH TO CURE YOUR TROUBLES.

I have always been a lavender gal, call me an old Granny, I don't care. At the moment, I am feeling over worked, tired and achy and it's not going to get any better over the Summer as Wimbledon fortnight is upon us. For me the best way to wind down is by whisking myself off into the calming scent of a lavender bath and as you can tell, I have grown quite a collection of the creme de la creme products! I love lavender for it's calming qualities and it always makes a great bath just before going to sleep. It calms my mind and whenever I am feeling stressed at the end of the day, it's my escape. A lavender bath just whisks me away to a perfect place away from my anxiety or demons, away from work and the worry of what's to come the next day. I love just cosin' up and catching up on some TV in my own little bath of bubbles.

I have picked four of my most recent favourites for a lavender heaven and written a little mini review on each. First up is one you may be familiar with, Lush Cosmetics French Kiss c/o. This gorgeous bubble bar not only creates the ultimate bubble hug at the end of an evening but also fills your whole bathroom with it's intoxicating scent that will certainly help you drift off into a deep sleep.

Next up is another fab find from Lush called Dreamtime c/o bought for me by my lovely man. This was my first experience with a bath melt and it was beautiful. Literally just drop the whole product into a toasty warm bath and enjoy the nourishing benefits of all of it's fab ingredients. With a blend of chamomile and lavender oils, this bath melt instantly fills your bathroom with a light calming fragrance. The bar itself is filled with skin loving ingredients such as Shea butter and almond oil to help heal and nourish your skin so it feels silky smooth once you jump out. The product isn't greasy at all but instead your bath water becomes milky and soft. I think it is a tad expensive for one bath, as I would love to have one every night but for a little treat it's perfect.

If you are after something that is a little less on the heavy side, I adore Kiehl's Lavender Foaming Relaxing Bath with Sea Salts and Aloe Vera. With ingredients that help to heal and sooth the skin, this bubble bath makes a great detox and conditions the skin. Once again this is quite expensive but if you can afford if why not hehe!

Finally is my favourite. Another treat from my giant Christmas beauty stash from john are the Absolute Aromas Lavender Himalayan Bath salts c/o. This is one for mega lavender fans as boy they are strong bath salts. Infused with lavender oil, these pure natural Himalayan salts which have been harvested from the foothills of the Himalayas, these salts are one of the purest mineral laden salts in the world, hence the ultimate bath. I only use a cap full of these salts, which helps calm the mind and relax your body. I always fine they help my aches and pains too. I am still to try the most coveted Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts from Cult Beauty to compare but for now these salts do me fine and I love them.

Are you a lavender fiend like me? What's your favourite bath products?

Hugs & Kisses
