THE NEW YORK HAUL.

It's finally here ladies and gents! Meet my New York Haul! It's only taken me a whole month to get this finally up on LLP but was it worth the wait...hell yes! So a the details. I gave Jess, my sister, 150 squids of my hard earned cash to go splash out in New York for myself! Of course I had a few things that I wanted her to pick up for me but as for the products, I let her go wild.

So when I was greeted by Jess with a huge sisterly hug back in London, I thought...where is the bag! She pulled out that Sephora bag and I literally died! I was so happy with everything she bought me and man that gal knows me so well! In the bag was a few goodies from both Sephora and New York's drugstore Duanereade! I have written a mini review of all the products, which I have tried and tested of course! I have tried to pop in a link if I can and the price of the products in dollars, as alot of them aren't cheap. But worth every penny.

First up is the star of the show, Crest 3D White Luxe Whitening strips (approx $40 for 28 strips). At the top of my hit list was Crest whitening kits. These things are not available in the UK which is a scandal! My pack is made up of 28 treatment strips that you wear everyday for an hour to achieve a shiny white smile. They are two stretchy clear gel stickers that you place over your teeth and leave on to get to work. I have almost finished the whole two weeks treatments now and I can't believe how amazing my teeth look. I never had awful teeth but they were stained and with a phobia of the dentist, there was no way I was going to have professional whitening. This treatment is amazing and with out a doubt I would use it again if they were to stain again. I am so happy with the look of my teeth now and the face that they look very natural, which is what I wanted. Now let's get them to the UK!

One product that I was really excited to use was Jess' random pick up from First Aid Beauty and it's their Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal mask (£17.50, 150ml). This mask has the texture, scent and hydration of Lush Cosmetics Oatfix but without the huge un-blendable lumps of oats!! I thought this mask was a joy to use and after placing a thick layer of it and washing it off after 15 minutes, my skin felt smooth, hydrated and clean. I am not sure how many uses I can get from this mask but I hope it will last a while, as it's a lovely addition to my weekly routine.

Everyone loves an easy peesy nail varnish remover and Jess picked me Cutex regular nail varnish remover pot, which is fricking huge people! It's much like the usual remover pots with just a basic sponge and remover but I love it as i think it's going to last me forever. I don't know the cost of this one but I'm pretty sure it will be reasonable.

I have way too many nail varnishes for one gal but I had to ask Jess to buy me the Marc Jacobs nail polish in Lola. This incredible, hot sexy red is the perfect polish for any occasion and I just had to have it! Jess also picked me up a Covergirl nail polish in a gorgeous orange coral, summer here I come and a Formula X Nail polish in Virtusco, an everyday grey.

Now to make up and I have to say Jess out did herself. She picked me up the most gorgeous Sephora Nude palette that doesn't just include an array of delicate highly pigmented nude tones of taupe, brown and cream that match with metallic bronze eyeshadow. This palette also comes with a highlighter, eye liner and lovely eye shower and linerbrush. I can't wait to start practising my very own smokey eye with this one.

Picked up at random again, Jess got me a Cargo lipstick in shade Sedona, an incredible bright orangey red that always compliments my skin tone. I couldn't send her to USA without a bit of Tarte. I was lucky to get a limited edition Tarte Amazonian clay Blusher in Captivating. This shade is a rich peachy pink that will look perfect on a summers day. And I totally believe the hype over these! Final is a lip gloss, picked up thinking it was something else as the Fresh packaging is actually a tad confusing but this Sugar Lip gloss I have to say is a delight to use. It's light, not greasy or sticky and it really moisturises your lips instead of making them dry and flaky.

So there you have it! Most of these bits are available on Sephora online, who now deliver to the UK whoop whoop but some you'll just have to book that trip to New York to get. Don't be jelly now!
