HYDRATE. THREE FACE MASK.

I am all about hydration. My skin has never looked better since I was told at a skin consultation that my skin was actually (and surprisingly) dehydrated. That's why I am all about hydration, in both my skin care routine and with any extras that I add into my week. For me I love a face mask and sometimes I have to stop myself from using one every day! Each week, I tend to listen to my skin, see what it needs and add two masks into my routine that might help combat or enhance my facey wacey.

These three have been on constant rotate this summer, two rose products of course, yes I'm a huge Rose fan and one all the way from across the pond. Starting with my favourite (I have managed to decide a favourite after much deliberation lol!) it's Super Facialist Rose Hydrate Intense Moisture Mask (£8.99, 125ml). This mask, if you haven't tried it, is gorgeous. Its just a quick 5 minute mask, which is perfect if you don't have too much time but you need a quick hydrating boost before running out. It is also the perfect mask to take 5 for yourself. Its cooling, rich and the texture is like a very thick cream, which once you apply it most of the product, depending on how thirsty your skin is, it soaks all the goodness up and your left with a hydrated, healthy looking complexion. This mask is suitable for sensitive skin and even if your not a Rose fan, its not a highly perfumed product, just enough scent for most. I use this mask as an extra hydration boost before an event or night out as it isn't too heavy it literally just gets your skin back into shape quickly. I use this mask maybe once or twice a week, depending on what else I am using.

Next up is the fella in the middle, First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask (£17.50, 56.7g). Very similar to Lush's Oatfix but without the huge falling pieces of chunky oats, this blended oat mask provides a calming and re hydrating quick fix for all skin types. The blend of two types of oats - Colloidal Oatmeal and Avena Sativa Oat Bran, help to sooth irritated skin, in hand leaving your with super smooth baby butt skin!

Finally is a skin treat from one of my favourite organic brand's Melvita's Rose Nectar Moisturising Mask c/o (£16.50, 50ml). This mask is a light cream gel with a rose infusion, which means it is not only soothing but cooling on the skin. This is a quick fix mask similar to the Super Facialist Rose mask but instead of removing the mask, Melvita suggest you only remove any excess with your favourite toner or simply some water. I like to use the Melvita Damask Rose water on a cotton pad just to remove any left over product but also to tone my skin, locking in the goodness from the mask. I think this is such a lovely mask for the Summer months as it is so soothing and relaxing on the skin.

I think if I can give one piece of advice in this post and it is to listen to your skin. It is so important to use products that your skin might need, ie hydration etc. Since listening to my skin more, I have found my skin to be at its best! What are your favourite hydrating face masks?
