IN MY MAKE UP BAG.

A brand new make up post for you and it's a little sneaky peek what is inside my everyday style makeup bag. I have quite openly admitted that on a day to day basics I don't tend to wear any makeup just as well I'm a lazy mo fo. Also I have to get up at all times of the morning, so who can be bothered. However, when I have those days where I get a little me time, I love to take the time to apply the best make up I can.

I am no make up pro but I love applying makeup and especially really simple but beautiful make up. For me, my favourite base is Laura Mercier Radiance Primer (£29.00). It's the perfect light base which under a light foundation gives a gorgeous natural glow. On top if that of course it has to be my signature foundation and yes I still haven't found anything that compares to Liz Earle's signature Foundation in Ivory c/o (£21.00, 25ml ). This foundation is just OMG. It's has a velvety finish and blends so well into my skin that honestly nothing can compare. I have been using this foundation and nothing else for at least two years now that I just can't let go. For concealer i love my latest blogger purchase and I am sure it is no surprise that it is the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in Fair (£4.19). On top of this I like to apply a small amount of Becca's Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal c/o (£33.00, 50ml) along my cheek bones, Cupid's bow and above and below my eye brow. This product is the perfect highlighter and also adds a beautiful subtle glow where it's needed. Along with this, I love at the moment, Liz Earle's Radiant Glow bronzer c/o (£19.50) which is a lovely pairing of matte and glowing shimmers, giving a subtle sun kissed look to your cheeks and jaw line. For this I use my Real Techniques Blush Brush (£9.99), as it is the perfect brush to blend out the bronzer giving a natural finish. Finally to finish, I love my new Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Captivating ($26.00) which I apply with my Liz Earle Blush Brush c/o (£15.00). It's my favourite brush for applying blusher, as you can blend easily and get the blusher angled right across your cheek bone due to the shape of the brush.

On to eyes now, I like to fill in my eye brows using my Revlon Quad in shade Addictive (£7.99) with an angled flat brush and then brush through them with a spooly brush. I also use the lightest pale cream from this palette all over my eye lids and just under my eyebrow, which I blend in with my Mac 217 brush. As I like a simple eye, I have been using Oriflame's The One Eye Liner Stylo in black c/o (£5.95). I love this pen like nib to create a beautiful natural line across my eyelid. The perfect feline flick as we say in the business hehe. Of course, my mascara of choice right now is literally probably the best mascara I have ever used and that is the Too Faced Better Than Sex Black Mascara (£19.00). This mascara makes my eye lashes so big! They literally look like fake lashes every time I use this. I haven't experienced any clumping at all, instead my lashes look curled, long and evenly parted. I don't think I'll be using any other product for a while after this one!

To finish, what would be more like me than a pop lip from Mac and that is the classic 50s matte re, Ruby Woo (£15.50). This red will always be my favourite as its texture is perfect for me, I tend to adore matte lips rather than a glossy finish and hello this red is damn sexy!

What are your make up must haves this summer? I hope you like reading about my makeup collection as a bit of a change! Back to skincare next week!

  4. I love the Too Faced mascara, I need to dig out my tube again. I almost almost almost got a bottle of the Liz Earle foundation, but I went for Nars Sheer Glow instead, I'm now even more curious about the former! x
