SCRUBY SCRUB SCRUB.

There is one thing that I sure look forward to every week and that's those few hours where I can dedicate some time to a little bit of TLC. If you love a pamper night, I can't recommend giving yourself a scrub down as I like to say. My two favourite body scrubs are here for you in this post and boy are they worth taking a little extra time in the shower or bath to use and get your skin buffed and smoothed for the week ahead.

My scruby scrub scrub is probably not a surprise to any beauty blogger reading this post, as if you haven't tried Soap & Glory's Sugar Crush Body Scrub (£8.00, 300ml) where have you been! I literally can't help but want to eat this scrub. It's one of those scents that is so addictive you just want to rub it all over yourself and hope that the smell lasts forever. This products texture is a sticky gel with a sugar base, which gives you the perfect amount of roughness on your skin. It is quite rough as it is a sugar based scrub but its actually gentler than most. With sweet lime, almond oil and macadamia grains, this is a dessert and scrub in one. It is very sweet, so if your not a fan of sickly scents this might not be for you but as the sweet lime cuts through the sweetness - just perfection. That's why I love it! A pot of this scrub does last a long time (if you don't cover yourself in it just for the scent hehe) and if your an addict like me, a body wash is available in this scent too. Double time hehe! The scrub is best used on wet skin I would say as it can be quite sharp on dry skin. Make sure you don't get any of this scrub in any broken or sensitive skin...it will hurt like a mo fo!

Next up is a newbie in my collection and its Lush Cosmetic's Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub c/o (£4.49 approx, 130g). I love it when I get to try a brand new product from Lush that I haven't tried before, as although I am a bath buff when it comes to this brand, I always forget they create such fabulous skincare products too. Through a very generous pile of birthday presents in late April, I am still working my way through all of the Lush box sets I received. In one of them was this scrub and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how lovely this scrub is. Unlike Soap & Glory's scrub this one has a real sea salt texture, so it is pretty rough on my skin. The texture itself is quite like wet sand, a tad gloopy but when on the skin it blends and starts to work its magic - super smooth skin, buffed to perfection. The scrub contains mineral rich sea salt, with mimosa and orange flower, creating that beautiful light fragrance. It's delicate ozonic blossom scent is light enough to fragrance the skin but not too much so it is over powering. Really it's quite a simple product. Simple is best right? I love about this product most, is that you can use it on dry or wet skin for a real scrub down or gentle exfoliation, also it can be used on your hair to add extreme beach wave volume. Who doesn't want amazing volume!

What are your favourite body scrubs?

Hugs & Kisses,
Becki xox

  3. I recently used up the Rub Rub Rub shower scrub and never thought of using it in my hair until I finished it up! When someone commented on my empties post about that, I was so disappointed in myself! Definitely going to be repurchasing it. I adore the smell! xx
