The wait is over! Yes you heard it, I can finally now write about the hot off the press Lush Cosmetics Christmas 2014 collection. I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of Lush's entire Christmas range all the way back in July when it felt completely unnatural to even think of cosy'in up in a hot bubble bath. However, I braved the London heat and emerged myself into Christmas goodness. Now I wasn't quite sure how to write about the new collection, as of course I haven't been able to sample every product but I have been able to get my hands on a few of the new releases and I have a killer list of all the products in front of me. My Lush Christmas posts will be in two parts, with the second part coming on Thursday with a few pics of the event in July (just so you can calm down a little, re-group and get excited at your computer again). Today's post is Lush's most loved products, their Bath Bombs and Bubble Bars.

Bath Bombs

Now, unfortunately I didn't get to sample any of the new releases at home but I did see them all at the press day and I must say I wasn't that impressed with the selection. In terms of new products, Lush have created a brand new Dashing Santa (£2.95) a Santa shaped bath bomb that promises to dash around your bath tub with traditional scents of Christmas and a Butterbear (£2.20), which I guessed instantly is just the same as last years Snowman bath bomb just in a cute baby bear shape. As for come backs, I think Lush realised that last years releases were pretty special so we can look forward to Father Christmas (£3.30) a traditional style bath bomb scented with zingy fruity orange and Bergamot, the Luxury Lush Pud (£3.50) which was certainly one for a spectacularly colourful bath, Shooting Star (£3.30), another colourful one with the sweet scent of Honey I Washed The Kids Soap, Cinders (£2.50) a spicy mini bath bomb that crackles like a Winter fire, the incredibly indulgent  cocktail of Golden Wonder (£3.60) and the crisp apple scented So White (£3.30).

Bubble Bars

Don't worry, I finally have some imagery for you that might just get you a little excited for Christmas! I won't waste anytime in introducing the cutest new release and that's that little Christmas Hedgehog c/o (£3.30) up top. With a simple, hand made feel, Lush have produced a delicate blend of Cocoa and Shea Butter with the scent of Rose and Ylang Ylang. They have also made two other new products, Drummers Drumming (£5.25) which is a musical bubble bar on a stick with two little bells either side in their famous Yummy Yummy Yummy scent along with the traditional Holly Go Lightly c/o (£4.50) a giant bubble bar (as you can see from above) with zesty and spicy scents of Lime oil and Cinnamon.

Lush like previously have also brought back a few favourites from previous years such as The Christmas Penguin (£3.10) which was a huge hit last year with a face that caught us all into adopting hundreds, the sweet scented Candy Mountain (£2.75), Christmas Eve c/o (£2.75) a calming blend of Jasmine and Ylang Ylang, perfect for bedtime and finally the Magic Wand (£5.25) a reusable bubble bar that can create up to ten baths of Vanilla goodness.

So there you have it, the first Lush Christmas reveal! Keep an eye out on Thursday for the next part, Soaps and Bath Melts. Anything that has been popped on your Christmas wish list?

Hugs & Kisses
