The second part to my skincare routine is my favourite. I'm that gal who can't wait to get home in the evening and get all of the makeup and daily nastiness off my face. I love my night time routine and just like my day time line up, it is forever changing. Over the last month, it seems to be that I have managed to get through quite a few of my favourite products all at the same time...always the way isn't it!

To start I have a brand new balm cleanser in my collection. Picked up just after my heavenly Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm finished, this Wild Rose balm cleanser from Neal's Yard (£37.00, 50g) has a similar melt in the middle texture, which once applied, you can have a really massage it into your skin. Of course I love this cleanser for the scent, as I am a Rose gal. The rich cleanser leaves my skin feeling clean, refreshed and hydrated as it contains lots of organic skin loving ingredients such as Jojoba and Hemp oil. Although worried at first if any cleansing balm would ever replace the holy grail that is Emma Hardie's Moringa Balm, I have to say I do love this one and my skin seems to love it too.

As a little pre-cleanse treat, if I am wearing alot of make up on my eyes, I like to use Chantecaille Rose Eye Makeup remover c/o (£33.00, 75ml). This pure indulgent eye makeup remover is gentle, delicate and effective at removing all eye makeup along with leaving your eyes feeling refreshed. After this of course comes another gentle product that every time I use it, it always leaves my skin feeling so smooth and radiant and that is Clarins Gentle Brightening Exfoliator Toner (£25.00, 125ml). This product is perfect for sensitive skin but give your skin time to adjust to the strong acids which this product contains. I however didn't have any problems with it but I would always be careful when you start using acids on your skin. Spritzed on top of this stage I like to use Jurlique Balancing Rosewater Mist (£24.00, 100ml). Get the Rose theme that is emerging here hehe!

For hydration, I like to use a little of Indeed Labs Hydraluron before my moisturiser and a little of Liz Earle's Eye Repair (£14.75, 10ml) around my eye area. I really like Eye Repair as it feels very hydrating and always wakes my eyes up if I am feeling a little tired. I think this would be a great day time eye cream as well. Finally my latest night time edition is Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream (£32.99, 60ml). This purchase was a pure indulgence pick me up and I have to say it smells and feels like luxury. I have never tried Antipodes products before so I was so excited to finally get my hands on it. I picked this cream up in store, as it felt gorgeous on my skin and when I swatched away, it left an amazing radiance on my hand. This cream certainly locks in moisture and keeps my skin looking and feeling amazing after sleep. I can't wait to try more from Antipodes, I have a feeling they will be my new favourite!

By the time this post goes live I am pretty sure I would have changed my skincare routine already but I will try and write maybe an updated version or give a quick review of any new products I have tried in the next month or so.

  1. I'm using the Clarins toner, Hydraluron, and Antipodes night cream as well. Have you tried the Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask? It's a great balancing mask and I like to use it once a week. xx
