My Korean beauty radar is on fire at the moment with influences and products from Asia flying over the world to our UK shelves. One product that has just launched in Boots stores nationwide is Masque Bar face masks. Affordable and easy to use, these new beauty must haves are perfect for a pampering night with the girls.

Developed and made in Korea, Masque Bar has launched in the UK with four masks that specifically tackle many of our skincare concerns. With a range of mud, creme and sheet masks, each formula aims to improve your skins concern along with hydrating and leaving you with a more radiant complexion. Each pack comes with three masks inside, which are perfect for one pampering session. I have written a little bit about each mask below so depending on what you want the mask to do, you can pick the one most suited for your needs.

Pore Refining Creme Mask c/o (£9.99, 15ml x3)

The perfect mask for me, this wonder mask reduces the appearance of pores for an even and radiant skin tone. With anti-oxidants, raspberry extract to soothe your skin, lemon fruit extract to detoxify and Vitamin E to protect your skin and repair damaged skin, this mask feels like a treat. I used this one first, whilst sampling them and I must say, my skin felt lovely after using it and certainly my complexion looked clear as anything. Even a few of my redder spot prone areas looked reduced. It was a very calming mask to use at home, so give it a go for 20 minutes of peace and quiet.

Brightening Sheet Mask c/o (£9.99, 15ml x3)

This mask has been created to minimise the appearance of dark spots and pigmentation for a clearer and even complexion. With radiance in mind, this cotton sheet mask contains Vitamin C and orange extract to promote collagen production and liquorice root is used to brighten the skin. Cleanse before applying the sheet mask over your face and smooth to make sure it's in place. Surprisingly you leave this mask on for 20 -30 minutes, which in my experience with face masks is a long time!

Anti-blemish Mud Mask c/o (£9.99, 15ml x3)

Now I haven't had the chance to sample this mask just yet as I have had a very good skin month and I didn't want to tempt fate by using something to clear spots and end up with a face full of them! However this mask is mud based that sooths irritated skin and spots whilst also controlling excess oil on the skins surface. With tea tree oil to calm breakouts, kaolin to reduce irritation and Vitamin A to stimulate skin cells and increase collagen production, I think this mask is perfect for combination and spot prone skin. If you are like me and only tend to get breakouts in certain areas of your skin, try using the mask on specific areas to target the breakout and leave on for up to 20minutes.

Anti-Wrinkle Sheet Mask c/o (£9.99, 15ml x3)

Not quite suited for me just yet (I'd like to think!) I passed these masks onto my mum (again no offence mum!) but this sheet mask is collagen infused and aims to rehydrate the skin, leaving you with a plumper and softer complexion. Vitamin E and green tea extracts help to reduce UV damage and protects your skin from everyday pollution and heals damaged skin. Leave the mask on for up to 30minutes to see a brighter and smoother face underneath.

Have you tried Masque Bar before? What mask did you go for?

  1. I've tried the pore refining one and love it x

  2. Move the blend in a container and additionally a tub. When you are not utilizing it you can cover it firmly and put your home-made blend in an icebox. The timeframe of realistic usability can keep going for around half a month prior to it is rendered unusable. anti aging reviews
