When you work in floristy, I have to say that it is so tricky to keep your hands in tip top shape. They are forever getting filthy, dunked in water, cleaning the floor, stripping the flowers, it is nasty folks and certainly not glamorous as some may think! As a beauty blogger, nice pretty nails are a must and I struggle. To keep my nails in a good condition I have to really take care of them and if I ever do where nail polish (to hide the dirt) I always rely on a top coat to help keep them looking fresh. I've shared my four favourite top coats in this post and I would love to hear if you have any favourites too!

I love a matte nail varnish and this top coat is a keeper. Cheap as chips, it's extremely fast drying and creates a matte look instantly on any polish. You have to be careful however that you do try and brush in one stroke as it can look streaky with too many brush strokes.

Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat c/o (£9.00,14ml)
The queen of top coats for many beauty bloggers, this really is the creme de la creme of top coats. It leaves you with super shines polished nails, it dries swiftly and keeps your nails chip free for almost a week. It is pretty pricey but lasts a life time and is well worth the investment.
A newbie to my collection, this extremely high gloss top coat is amazing. It's cute little size means it can be a girls best friend in your handbag and it dries quickly. It defiantly gives the greatest shine compared to the others. Described as a wet look polish, this certainly stands up to its name. It also keeps your nails strong and less likely to break or chip.

Nails Inc Kensington Caviar Topcoat c/o (£12, 12ml, mine is a mini)
A firm favourite of mine for years now is Nails Inc's classic top coat. This sturdy top coat leaves a glossy shine and strengthens your nails all week. It can however turn a little gloopy after a while and mine always turns orange!
What are your favourite top coats?
