There is nothing better than a gorgeous warm berry hue for the lips during this time of year. Unlike my usually pop lip line up, I have tried coming out of my comfort zone and I've started playing around with some warmer brown tones and rich seductive berry reds. I have picked a few of my favourites to share with you today that I have been wearing with my usual simple everyday makeup. Starting from the top and heading clockwise, enjoy my favourite autumn lippies...

Perfect for dry lip gals, this 77 mineral-rich lipstick means say goodbye to winter chapped lips and instead enjoy beautiful colour all day long. With a highly moisturising formula, this sexy dark berry red not only smells amazing (think vanilla heaven) the colour looks highly pigmented and luxurious. However it does only last for a few hours but for me I had to re-apply the colour to keep it looking it's best.

The perfect nude lip and certainly the barest lipstick that I have ever warn. This soft fleshy pinky brown has a long lasting satin formula and is from the new nude range created by Illamasqua. It is very creamy, easy to apply lipstick that looks really lovely with basic makeup and certainly is a gorgeous shade for everyday. It looks more of a pastel brown against my skin and works really well with my dark brown eyes.

Brought for me from across the seas in my very first beauty box swap from New York, this muted purple hue from The Body Shop Colour Crush lipstick range applies easily, feels soft on the lips and packs a real punch of colour. The lipstick lasts well and as for the colour, it looks so lovely in the evening with a feline flick and a smokey eye.

The darkest and bravest autumn shade for me is this little gem. Bought a while back, when I was scuffling through my make up stash, I couldn't believe what a lovely bold colour it was. The colour is a blend of a warm brown with a hint of a dark purple about it. The satin finish is very glossy and keeps your lips hydrated when it's a little colder.

What are your favourite Autumn berry lipsticks?

  2. Lovely picks! I must admit that I am still struggling to leave the bright lip colors I loved during summer alone. This post has really made me want to dig out some of my berry and nude lipsticks. I really like the look of the Illamasqua lipstick in Starkers, I enjoy a nice pink/brown nude lippie that isn't at all like having concealer lips!
