It's always the way that when you really need them, all of your favourite cleansers all run out at the same blooming time. I think it's fricking bad karma in my eyes. With my skin needing extra hydration and protection from the cold, my morning and night time cleanser needs to be nourishing and rich, which will protect my skin during the day and when I am asleep.

Rummaging in my beauty stash, I found this rather delicate creamy cleanser No7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser (£9.95, 200ml) that I had picked up from Boots a few months ago. I have been using this lovely cream based cleanser for a few weeks now and boy do you get alot of product for your money. I usually use this cleanser the morning before the rest of my routine and at night time as a first cleanse, which usually I'll use a balm after to get my skin feeling fully nourished.

This No7 cleanser is great at removing all make up and is hypo-allergenic so it's perfect for my sensitive skin even though it does actually smell more 'chemically' than anything I have used in the past. The consistency of the cleanser is quite thick and feels soft on the skin. You only need one or two pumps and I tend to massage it in and remove the product then with a warm muslin cloth. This cleanser does come with a cloth but for me it doesn't quite feel as nice as my Liz Earle muslin cloths or just a basic flannel. I have tried my fair share of creamy based cleansers and when it comes to the whole 'hot cloth' process, I use a hot flannel to remove all of my cleansers and I think it's the most affective way of removing any daily grime so don't skip that step folks.

I thought before writing this post that I didn't want to really compare this product with the famous and much loved by myself Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish (£24.75, 200ml) or the Ren Evercalm Cleanser (£16.00, 150ml) that I actually adored but it's pretty tough as they are quite similar. This No7 cleanser is with out a doubt highly affective at properly cleaning your skin, as not only have noticed a big difference in my pores, I have to share that my blackheads have pretty much gone. However my chin as per usually has flared up a little but I can't be 100% sure if this is the cleanser or the fact that the cleanser is actually cleaning my skin better than anything I have used before. I have never however had any flair ups with the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish as it usually calms my skin.

I am not 100% convinced that this cleanser is any better than the famous Liz Earle cleanser as for me, my skin loves that product and when ever I use it, it always feels like a pleasure to use. The Cleanse and Polish feels luxurious in my eyes and it's scent and ingredients always attract me to the product. This No7 cleanser for me, doesn't quite have the same affect on me. It does a good job of cleansing my skin but as a complete skincare loser I am, I just don't look forward to giving my skin a good cleanse with this, it is too basic for me. However at removing makeup and certainly for a morning cleanse, I can't fault it. The price and amount of product is too incredible value for your money!

What do you think about the No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser? Have you tried it before?
