MY NEW MAKEUP COLLECTION FROM THE DRUGSTORE.

I couldn't wait to share with you my latest massive indulgence...a brand new makeup collection. I took myself off last month, armed with my makeup guru - my baby sis and we hit the drugstore in search of brand building me a brand new makeup bag. I have never been a massive makeup gal, I mean I do love makeup but I don't seem to massively suit it. I would love to wear lots of smokey eyes and have contoured face but it just never looks natural on me. So I was determined to alight my femininity and get some new products to get excited over again. Come to Muma you 3 for 2 deals!

I always keep my makeup simple. I like a flawless base (which has been a nightmare with all my acne scars), natural looking eyes and a bright lip. I wish I was brave enough to rock a more exciting look but until someone sits me down and shows me I shall stick to what I know best. As you can see from my little face up there, I love a bright lipstick and my favourite has got to be a slightly older bargain that will match up to any Mac lippy - L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche in Blake's amazing deep red matte lipstick (£6.99). Its got the best pigmentation and lasts really well without completely drying out your lips like most matte lipsticks do. I usually line my lips with a Gosh velvet touch lip liner c/o (£4.99) which are extremely affordable and Cardinal Red goes with pretty much all deep red shades in my collection.

Now to new makeup! I bought brand new bases.

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser (£7.99) - a great primer, which blurs out pores and keeps makeup on all day. I think it's good for the price but for a little more I'd prefer something a little more luxurious.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation (£9.99) & Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder (£7.99) - Read my review from last week :)

Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light (£6.49) - a useful duo for a contouring newbie, with a shimmery highlighter on one side and a deep matte brown on the other for those defined lines.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder (£3.99) - a firm favourite for years, add just a touch down your T-zone and it will keep you oil free.

I also bought a few repurchases from Collection, their Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.19) and Collection liquid liner, along with Natural Collection blush in Peach Melba (£1.99), a classic rosy peach.

I am so happy with my new makeup bits and couldn't recommend giving the makeup bits a go if your after something new. My fav is still the amazing recommendation from Jess - the Bourjois foundation.
