NEW BEAUTY. MODERN TRIBES FROM KIKO MILANO.

Over the last few years, makeup hasn't really been my thing. I have never really coveted it and the lusting for a new lipstick wasn't very me. Now as I grow older and my disastrous spout of hormonal acne, makeup has become a must have. Being blessed with amazing skin, means I have never really had to wear much makeup...times have definitely changed.

Expect more makeup on LLP now as its become my new thang!

To kick things off, I wanted to share with you a new makeup brand to my collection and that is Kiko Milano. I have seen the brand pop up more and more over the last year and with amazing limited editions, similar to how Mac grabs our attention ever few months, Kiko have brought out a stunning Modern Tribes range. With soft peachy hues, bronzed eyes and earthy tones that look amazing in the sun, this collection has something for even the palest of ladies.

To start the packaging is to die for. With their Sunproof powder foundation SPF 15 c/o (£13.90) packaged in a tribal wooden box, it certainly won't break in your suitcase. The Foundation is a water resistant lightweight powder with a matte effect. Perfect for the beach, the powder has a lovely soft silky texture to it and blends evenly into the skin. It comes in three shades, which this one here Medium is too dark for me right now but here's hoping for some sunshine.

I have never been quite the fan of multipurpose lip and cheek products, I usually just use it for one or the other but either way Kiko's super soft Free Spirit Lips & Cheeks pencil is one of the best I have used. The pencil itself is so soft and the colour is pigmented and bold. I got to try 02 Supreme Guave c/o (£8.90) a peachy pink hue with plenty of punch. I picked to keep this for the apples of my cheeks as unlike most I have tried the pencil is soft enough to use directly on my cheeks. The finish is a creamy matte texture blending into a pretty rosy cheek.

Finally is Kiko's Graphic Ritual Kajal Eyeliner in Touch Turquoise c/o (£5.90). I always stick to a black eyeliner, have done for years but when this gorgeous blue arrived I got excited! I have always wanted to try a blue eye liner on the inner and outer lash line and it looks so seductive! The colour itself is bold and bright, which compliments my dark brown eyes, deepening the colour even more.

I am very happy with my first try at bold summery makeup with Kiko and for the price the makeup is very good quality. Can't wait to visit their London store.
