EMPTIES.

Every month it's the same thing, empties galore! It's very rare that I will open a new product and not use it right until it finishes, unless I absolutely hate it of course but that rarely happens. So when it does come to my empties post it always shows a good indication of what I have truly loved over a few months.

Over the summer I have had quite a love affair with in shower beauty. After a hard day at work, minus the dream of having a bath, my only sanctuary is to have an indulgent shower all to myself. I love a great smelling shower gel, this months being Soap & Glory's cult favourite Sugar Crush (£6.50, 500 ml) which has taken me a while to finally get through and Clean on Me shower cream (£6.50, 500ml). These two are always a winner.

An indulgent shower isn't complete without a great rough scrub and my go to's have been from Soap & Glory again with their heavenly scented Sugar Crush Scrub (£8.00) that just smells like zesty sweets and Rituals skin softening Himalayan salt scrub c/o (£19.50). I loved the Rituals scrub as its salt base was nice a tough on my skin, which for me is what a good rough scrub is all about!

After the shower it's all about a face mask and moisturiser. Ive finally finishes two of my favourites- Korres Quince body butter c/o (£12.50) and Super Facialist Hydrating Rose Face Mask (£9.99). Both do an incredible job of keeping my skin supple and hydrated. The mask is the bomb! Would recommend everyone gives it a try as I think it's amazing value for money and I have tried many high end masks that just aren't as good as this one!

I've also got through a hell of a lot of Lush products this month. With the opening of their new Oxford Street Flagship, I couldn't help myself but purchase a few bits. Fresh face masks are always a perfect pampering treat and I have tried my fair share. The new exclusive Rosy Cheeks (£6.50) is perfect for hydrating and calming your skin especially as it's cool straight from the fridge. As my review suggested last week another amazing product that I have tried from their exclusive range is their Jersey Bounce Shampoo c/o. Have a read of my review HERE

I have quite a pile of Lush empties now so I guess I'll be picking a new fresh face mask this week!

Any recommendations?

  1. I love Soap and Glory body washes, but I agree they do seem to take forever to use up!
