MY QVC BARGAIN WITH TARTE COSMETICS 6 PIECE BEST FACE FORWARD MAKEUP COLLECTION IN FAIR

I have become a little be obsessed with makeup. Never would I have thought, I would be the girl to have to have the next big thing but I see cute packaging and a sexy blush and I'm sold. Since starting LLP, I am pretty sure you would have hardly ever read about makeup, as to be perfectly honest, I was never that bothered. I had my favourites and I stuck to them. Now I am in deep over my head!

My most extravagant purchase recently (apart from that Mac Wash and Dry makeup brush at £45!!!) was this amazing QVC special purchase Tarte Cosmetics 6 piece Best Face Forward Makeup Collection £46.50. I was lucky enough to see this at the QVC press day with the heads up of when it was going to be hitting the big screen, that morning it went live, I bought one straight away. Sold out in just a few hours in my shade Fair, I got one!

In the set is this beauty of a clay bronzer in Pink Bronze, which has a lovely rich blend of peachy bronzey tones that come together as a sort of bronzer and blush. On fair skin this gives a subtle definition and brightens my complexion. I didn't even want to use it to be honest as it looked so beautiful in the palette, which in fact has the most amazing marble cerise patterned front!

Also in the set is their famous Lights, Camera, Lashes 4 in 1 mascara that really is as good as everyone says it is. It curls, lengthens, volumises and gives my lashes a dark black lift after just a few coats. A beautiful pattered Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Quad in four simple neutrals was the QVC exclusive, along with a matching QVC exclusive double ended complexion brush- a domed and flat buffing brush perfect for blending in your base and how can I forget the amazing summery geometric makeup bag!

The only product that I was a little disappointed with was Tarte's clay infused CC primer in Fair, which is a correction stick that is split into four quarters as you can see that helps to blur imperfections, neutralise redness and give coverage on areas of the skin that are discoloured. For me as soon as I opened this the stick actually flung out onto the floor! I think the cheap packaging didn't help here! I did give the product a bit of a clean up and when I used it the product wasn't that bad. The coverage was OK and the correction colour quarters did do the job but the product was just too cakey for me.

For the price, I think I bagged myself a bargain and I don't think you'll find anything like it out there. Especially that amazing geometric pattern!!

Did you pick up this QVC exclusive last month?
