ANTIPODES SKINCARE. GRAPESEED BUTTER CLEANSER, REJOICE DAY CREAM & DIVINE FACE OIL.

This month I am back into my usual routine and trying so many new things. Antipodes were kind enough to let me trial a few bits that I have had my eye on over the last year. Firstly I am so fricking happy to have the literally DIVINE face oil c/o (£19.99) back in my life. When you suffer from adult acne, most of the time its the scarring that is the difficult part to get rid of. I have slowly learnt to accept my scars but I still would prefer them not to always be there reminding me of those awful breakouts. This oil is a beautiful blend of rose hip and avocado oil helps to restore damaged skin over time, especially scarring but most importantly it hydrates, which is a must when your even having a breakout. Never dry out your skin ladies! It smells beautiful and since using it, my skin is slowly looking better, scars are less visible and I feel more confident.

I have never tried an Antipodes Cleanser before and a buttery cleanser is always a winner in my eyes. This Antipodes Organic Grapeseed Butter Cleanser c/o (£24.99, 75g) has the texture of skincare heaven. It is a rich, soft and luxurious buttery cleanser that may not look the best with its yellowy slightly lumpy texture, which is only due to the natural organic ingredients but boy does it leave your face feeling amazing. With skin loving ingredients such as olive oil, coconut oil, evening primrose oil, chamomile and vitamin e, this cleanser is a pleasure to use. I have my cleansers on rotation but this one I have been using pretty much every night as my second cleanse.

Finally is Antipodes Rejoice light facial day cream c/o (£26.99, 60ml) and once again we have a beautiful product. This day cream is nutrient rich with the likes of avocado oil, Manuka bloom and sweet almond so you can imagine it smells amazing too. As I can get oily throughout the day, this cream is non-oily and leaves my skin looking hydrated and plumped. With Manuka Bloom, claiming to help keep your skin blemish free due to its antibacterial properties, it hasn't been a total miracle for me but even if I do have a spot, it clears quicker than before.

Overall, my full skin experience with Antipodes has been nothing but positive. There skincare is the best organic skincare I have ever tried and it has made a real difference to the appearance of my skin. It looks hydrated, glowy and healthy again after the last few stressful months I've had. So thank you Antipodes.

Have you tried Antipodes before? Any recommendations?

  1. Haven't tried anything from Antipodes but really dying to! I want to try out the much talked about Vanilla Pod cream, I've smelled it in Whole Foods and it really looks and feels great too... One day, one day. I've heard so many mixed reviews about the Divine Face Oil tbh, one of my friends said it doesn't really do much so I'm really on the fence but I really like Rosehip oil on its own so it'd be interesting to see how the rosehip and avo blend work on me. ARGH ANTIPODES WHY ARE YOU SO EXPENSIVE hehehe
