NEW BEAUTY. KIKO MIDNIGHT SIREN COLLECTION.

Late to the party as usual, KIKO is firmly becoming one of the best makeup brands for limited edition collections. The frenzy to snap them up before they go is something Mac Cosmetics do so well even if the collections aren't even that great. I think KIKO does it better and for less bucks!

Not only does KIKO produce an incredible array of products for everyone, and I'm talking all skin tones but their packaging and limited editions are like nothing anyone else is doing and I don't think we've heard enough about them. I have always walked past KIKO's Regent street store and never really been inclined to pop in but after this collection I am sold.

Launched this Autumn is KIKO's Midnight Siren limited edition collection. A striking campaign of rich midnight blue packaging and probably the most beautiful illuminating palettes of honey tones and bold rich eye shades. In this capsule collection they have released four new Moon Shadow Water Eyeshadow sticks c/o (£7.90) in dark shimmery tones, which Mysterious Chocolate the one I have, is a deep rich brown that can be blended and layered to be as dark and smokey as you like. What surprised me is how soft they are as shadow sticks, the creamy formula packs a punch of colour as well along with stay on power.

By far the stars of the collection for me however are their knock out alien looking highlighters. Housed in a big round shimmery navy ball, the KIKO Silk Pearl Illuminating Bronzer 02 Irresistible Sienna c/o (£14.50), as photographed above, is too pretty to even begin to think of using. The delicate and subtle three tiers of shimmery bronze to gold, when blending together in a sweep gives your skin just a kiss of sparkle and health. I love wearing bronzer's instead of blush and this one looks amazing on pale skin like mine. Its alot shimmery than I would usually go for but placed above your brow and on your cheek bone its perfect.

The other product from the Midnight family that I adore is KIKO's Cream Radiance Highlighter 02 Alluring Sand c/o (£10.90). A mini ball this time, KIKO has created a show piece that too cant be used! Darn beautiful packaging! This highlighter is full of sparkly pigment that when used lightly on your eyes too looks stunning. It feels like a mix of cream and powder to touch, which when applied it stays on your skin easily and blends to your complexion.

Back to eyes and the coloured eye liner trend isn't going anywhere just yet with six Dark Tide Eyeliner shades c/o (£7.90) think rich purples and blues. Brows aren't left out of this collection either with three Shape & Shimmer Eyebrow Sticks c/o (£8.90) that include a two ended pencil, one end a colour to fill in your brows and the other end is a highlighter to shape and highlight. I love this product and it's packaging is really strong so it doesn't feel like the product will just fall apart or damage after spending a while in your makeup bag like I find most other dual ended sticks on the market.

Also available are six shades of their Muse Matte Lipstick c/o (£6.90), a velvety liquid lipstick that is packaged in a cute glass pot with a lip wand to apply the product but does look suspiciously like nail varnish. The shades are all my favourite hues from pink to bold reds but the unusual formula of an almost mousse like texture wasn't really to my liking but hey you can't win them all!

This collection is a knock out for me and the packaging is a serious problem as I can't bare to use it! So beautiful!

Have you tried the KIKO Midnight Siren collection? Grab it before it goes!
