THE FRENCH PHARMACY. MY CITY PHARMA HAUL FROM PARIS.

Yes I am still going on about Paris and I probably will till the end of the year until I get the chance to go again! This is what I am sure you have all been waiting for, my City Pharma Haul!

The mecca for most French skincare addicts and well the majority of us beauty obsessives, City Pharma is a Pharmacy dedicated to all things beauty. A two stored tiny pharmacy is packed with every French brand you can imagine. Just a quick Eurostar trip is worth the journey for this place. I ended up visiting the store twice, once late in the evening and the other time when it was less chaotic on a Friday morning.

Picking up a few basics and bits that I had read about online, mainly from other beauty bloggers recommendations I ended up with a rather concise bag of skincare I think and a whole bag for the other half back home, which hopefully will stop him using all of my stuff! I didn't go too crazy as like my Sephora Haul, we can get pretty much get all of these brands in the UK, however the price of some products were pretty much better than half price!

To the haul. Of course the usual Bioderma Sensibio H20 (500ml) had to come home with me. At just 15 euros for 1 litre of the stuff, me and my bestie split the pack and got a bottle cheaper than you could ever buy here. I picked up another bottle of La Roche Posay Serozinc at just 5 euros I couldn't resist and my skin isn't the same without this now. Although Boots have got an amazing deal on it now in store so go go go!

Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm is also another one of those products that you just have to collect in your basket as its by far the best lip balm out there for the colder weather and its only 6 euros something where here its almost a tenner! Nuxe Gentle Exfoliating Gel with Rose Petals also caught my eye , as I am after a gentle exfoliator to pop into my routine but I still haven't tried it just yet.

I have just recently discovered a new French brand Puressentiels, post coming on Saturday FYI, who have just launched some of their products over here in the UK. It was my mission to track down their massage oils, that I luckily had the chance to try down at their launch, which aren't actually available here in the UK yet. I found my favourite Puressentiels Lavender & Neroli oil. Bliss!

Then I picked up a few cult beauty products that I had never tried before. Klorane Nettle Dry Shampoo that I had read is a must have to try, which you can't seem to still get over here apart from a few Ebay sellers and I already wish I bought a few more bottles. The cult classic Embroyolisse Lait- Creme, a miracle 24hour cream, is a multipurpose product that can be used as a cleanser, moisturiser, primer etc, worth a try I thought.

Melvita is a brand I have always loved for years now, so how could I not pick up my favourite Orange Blossom Floral Water ready for the hot summer months. Finally I had such a bad outbreak in Paris that I picked up La Roche Posay Effaclar A.I a spot treatment that focuses on stopping a spot from marking your skin. I however feel this might be a little too strong for my skin as its become quite sensitive these days but I need to try it a few more times to see how I get on with it.

Word of advice, City Pharma is manic at all hours of the day. Go armed with a planned list, get lost in the aisles and just have fun! The whole idea of shopping abroad is to enjoy it and pick up bits you've never tried or you just have to have. I think I was rather polite in the store but luckily I had my bestie by my side where I sorted her out with a fantastic skin routine!

What do you think of City Pharma?
