A brand that is always bringing new innovative ideas to drugstore makeup and certainly are rivalling some of the bigger and more expensive brands is GOSH. I have always had a fairly hit and miss relationship with their makeup but recently I have made their products part of my everyday face...ahum Velvet Matte Lipsticks I'm talking about you! This SS16 GOSH are releasing a whole heap of new products and I've shared a few of my favourites with you.

The products that seem to be getting alot of attention is the new collection of Lip Oils c/o (£7.49), which I don't think have gone online just yet. From first sight I though oh no not another gloss but to my surprise these hydrating lip oils are a thicker soft light lip balm with a gloss finish. Again to my surprise they are full of active ingredients such as moringa, argan and macadamia oils that are all high in vitamin E and omega 3. The oil is a toughy to describe as it applies like a gloss softly over your lips by the wand applicator and it almost leaves a sheen on the surface which when rubbed together your lips feel super silky.

I am new to this new trend and I have to admit, I'm a convert. They make a great easy multipurpose product both hydrating for the winter whilst leaving a pretty shine. They are available in three colours and my two 002 Sea Buck thorn a light gold and 004 Raspberry a pinky red, literally look completely clear on my lips. They are meant to leave a light colour but I didn't see it in these two and be warned I think they awful from the tube, once their on your lips you can't smell anything!

Primer's are everywhere at the moment and I bit like the whole BB, CC, DD blah blah creams, primers seem to be coming up trumps when it comes to ways in which to add a little pzazz to your makeup routine. Gosh's new Primer+ Base Plus Illuminating Skin Perfector c/o (£14.99) has a light texture infused with Silsoft E-Pearl an ingredient that combines moisture and skin lightening benefits, to give you that extra glow under your foundation. The colour of the primer is a little scary and I thought wouldn't blend into my fair skin but the pigment completely dissolved. The final affect of the primer is a softening natural glow!

The final product I had the pleasure to try is one that cries out summer! This cute little bottle is Gosh's new Lumi Drops c/o (£7.99) which I too can't find online just yet. Washes of colour and highlighter look so pretty in the summer and with this easy to apply liquid shimmer makes your skin glow in the sunlight. This illuminating highlighter is very much a liquid which means it applies to the skin quite wet and is easy to blend. The colour is quite strong on my pale skin but when you have a touch of a tan, it would look amazing. It is very pigmented with shimmer due to the reflecting pearl pigments so go light to start! Although a tiny pot, it will last you for ages as you do only need a few drops!

What do you have your eyes on from the new SS16 collection?

Hugs & Kisses
