To begin, I have picked my favourite of the two and it is their Glow Drops c/o (£21.00, 30ml). Labeled as a dry touch oil, it's got a light silky texture, made with 98% naturally derived ingredients to help brighten, nourish and hydrate your skin. It contains a blend of essential oils that gives is an uplifting subtle herbal scent whilst containing Vitamin C to help with the glow factor! I have been trying this oil at both night and day, which I must say I have been very impressed with it's use for both! It's non-greasy texture seems to really work well with my dry skin, as it means I layer it up, without feeling too heavy or making me look oily throughout the day!
Since bringing this oil into my routine, I have seen that my skin has certainly improved in texture and in radiance. I feel really confident in my skin finally! I find the benefits are at there best usually if I use this oil at night, as I wake up and my skin looks alive!
In terms of a comparision, it is very similar in affect to the Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil (£32.00, 20ml), which I reviewed HERE. However the biggest difference with Clarins and The Hero Project oil's is the texture. As Glow Drops is a dry oil, it sinks into your skin almost immediatly and doesn't feel like youve put anything on, a bit like a dry oil for your body. Although the Clarins Lotus Face oil is one of my favourites, now all gone, The Hero Project's Glow Drops is a lovely new replacement, which does pretty much the same as the Clarins oil.
As for summer skincare, Glow Drops has made it's way into my everyday routine, switching from using it at night and even day time if I need that extra glowy boost!
The next review of The Hero Project's Hyasoft Instant Moisture Boost is coming next week with a different comparison to one of my favourite skincare products of all time!
