THE BODY SHOP LIMITED EDITION CHRISTMAS 2016 FROSTED BERRY BODY BUTTER & HAND CREAM REVIEW.

Christmas posts come flying in this time of year but like a few previous posts, I have only picked just a few I wanted to feature. Most of those are Christmas ranges that I have loved using or just a few bits that are worth you picking up for stocking fillers.

One range that you can't go wrong with buying for fellow beauty lovers is The Body Shop's limited edition Christmas Frosted Berry collection. The Body Shop every year, release a lovely set of limited editions using their famous formula's with a brand new festive scent.

This year, The Body Shop seem to have released a few different scents, one which I am sure was out a few years ago or was very similar Spiced Apple, which is that warming sickly cinnamon sweet Christmas fragrance and Vanilla Chai, which I haven't smelt yet but just sounds yummy (vanilla has always been my one of my fav scent notes but don't tell anyone! They will think I haven't got a sophisticated nose!)

The range I have had the pleasure to try is Frosted Berry. This collection is a very sweet mixture of cherry and strawberry. It does have a slightly musky note to it. The Softening Body Butter c/o (£14.00, 200g) seems alot thicker than the original ones I have tried, it's very dense in texture but leaves your skin soft and hydrated. I have always loved The Body Shop hand creams, especially the Hemp one for my dry floristry hands but the Frosted Berry Hand Cream c/o (£4.00, 30ml) isn't as hydrating. It feels more of a 'scent' over 'substance' in my eyes, which is a shame but my hands need alot of TLC most of the time so this hand cream doesn't quite fix them like the Hemp one does. It would make a great stocking filler as it does however taste good enough to eat!

This Christmas Frosted Berry collection is so yummy as always and yes it's sickly but don't you just love that this time of year, I mean I even light cinnamon candles for goodness sake!
